My sisters and I were told of a magnificent Redwood forest that grows up in Big Sur in California. Without a map and without a guide we set off in search of it. What we found was more beautiful than anything. The trees were as tall as giants and they were hidden by secretive mountains covered in a misty blanket. That’s really sad. I’m 19 going on 20 and I still a) read books for pleasure and b) am given approximately 5-10 books a year by my grandmother. I have a small library in my room. How people go the rest of their lives without reading books is sad. Books are so much to me. I was that kid in middle school going to the library everyday because I read a book a day. For three years.
